Shipping Policy

How do you ship and how much time would it take for us to receive the shipment?
- We use cargo freight to deliver to all destinations not within Nairobi, Kenya; this normally takes approximately five (5) working days to reach the customer's shipping address, unless otherwise indicated and informed. Express delivery, which costs higher than normal shipment, takes approximately 24 working hours to reach the customer's shipping address - unless otherwise indicated and informed.


Do you have warranty on the jewellery?
- Our online shop deals in handcrafted accessories made from various natural materials in an effort to promote our local artisans; in light of this, we do not have warranty on jewellery, or any ornamental products sold. However, we take the utmost care in designing, creating and packaging the items so that no damage or loss is incurred during shipping; we can only advise that the consumer take measures to handle their delicate jewellery with personal care as replacements or refunds due to damage AFTER delivery will not be accepted.

Refund Policy

Nnunji's main aim is to ensure that you are satisfied with every purchase but we know that sometimes this is not the case.

If you are not satisfied with the end product received, you may return the same for exchange within 10 days from the date of shipment; this is on condition that your order specifications were not met. In the event that the quality of the end product is not what you expected, we will be pleased to give an exchange with a similar item within the same price range - but shipping charges will still apply.

About Exchanges and Replacements:
You can exchange an item through our online Returns section if both the item being returned and the new item meet certain eligibility criteria. If the item you wish to return doesn't have an exchange option, you'll need to return the original item and place a new order.

How To Return An Order:

1. Return Form: Fill in the Return Form on the Website with the appropriate information and then follow the instructions provided on the page. A RMA number (Return Authorization Number) will be generated which will identify your return request.

2. How to Package Your Return: Package all your items securely so it is one unified package ready for delivery. Include the Return Form, a packing slip and other materials sent to you by Nnunji.com;
Please Note: You should NOT indicate on the package that it contains jewelry, or other high-value items, as this invites theft; however, if the item is of a delicate or fragile nature, kindly ensure you clearly indicate this on the package in big font.

3. Shipment and Insurance: For the secure return of your order, we recommend using an upgraded courier service, such as FedEx, rather than regular mail. Make sure you can track your package and opt for signature confirmation. This will help guarantee that the package arrives at Nnunji.com in good condition, for quick and easy processing.

Return Process:
Nnunji warehouse will inspect and verify the condition of the item once we receive the return. Items must be returned in the condition in which they were sent for a full refund or an exchange. Returns take approximately 7 working days to process upon receipt of the item; this excludes Saturdays.

We will refund the full cost of the item as per the catalogue price indicated on our Website, EXCLUDING all applicable shipping and handling charges incurred.

About Refunds:
Your refund and how your refund is issued may differ based on the condition of the item, how long you've had the item, and how the item was purchased.

Refunds will be made using the mode of payment used in the original purchase. Please allow 5 business days for your credit to appear on your statement after the applicable credit has been processed. In case of any delays in remittance of your refund, you shall be notified via email.

If an exchange has been requested, and the alternative item is within the price range of the original product, normal processing times will apply unless the item is already in stock. Where the exchanged item is of less value than the original order, we will refund you the difference using a mode of transfer that is appropriate for the amount in question.

Required Conditions of Return:
· Packages without a RMA number will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
· Items must be returned in the same condition as they were sent from Nnunji.com within 10 days from the date of shipment; orders received after this date will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
· Custom orders such as orders made to your exact specifications cannot be accepted back for a refund or exchange, unless oversight was made on our part during design or product creation.
· Please note that all items returned will be visually inspected by our orders handling personnel; any item that has been mishandled or damaged in your possession will not be exchanged or refunded.
NOTE: If the product returned is not in a fully saleable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

For reasons of health and hygiene we are unable to exchange or refund the following products:

- Pierced earrings and other pierced body jewellery unless faulty or damaged during our shipping.

- Quilts, duvets, pillows and mattresses, no exchange or refund once the original packaging has been opened or damaged unless faulty or damaged during our shipping.

- Hats and hair accessories unless tags are still in place and packaging remains unopened and undamaged, unless faulty or damaged during our shipping.
